Many retirement age adults are asking the question “ How can I have a lifestyle that will bring significance to the Kingdom of God?” Does it mean that all retirement age adults are going to change careers and become pastors and missionaries? No, but some will make significant changes in their careers to serve the Lord in a new way.  Others will join with local church ministries that are making a difference for the Kingdom or become involved in a short term missions trip.  Retire and Refocus hopes to provide ministry options for those in their retirement years.

EMBRACE CHANGE
Culture in America is rapidly changing. Soon there will be more retirement age adults in our society than any other identifiable age population.  This will be a first in history!  Unfortunately, not every change is a positive change however, the retirement age adult must begin to embrace some of the changes that can enhance their lifestyle and their ministry within the church.  Retire and Refocus sees the retirement years as years of learning and education as we embrace the changes that will enhance ministry. 

RESPOND POSITIVELY
God is opening the doors of opportunity for retirement age adults as they make themselves available to Him.  Sharing Christ in a prison, ministry with children, working in a foreign country, and preparing meals for the homeless are just a few of the options that are opening up.  Retire and Refocus envisions hundreds of thousands of retirement age adults stepping forward to respond with a hearty response to God’s leading.

Many early retirement adults are involved with raising their grandchildren while assuming responsibilities for aging parents.  You are not alone in this unique life-stage and Retire and Refocus wants to come along side you to provide encouragement and information.
